AAAA Batteries

AAAA Batteries are small batteries that are cylindrical in shape. Also called LR61 or MN2500 batteries, AAAA batteries are commonly used in electrical devices like LED penlights and Bluetooth headsets to name a few. These batteries are also classified as LR8D425 by IEC and 25A by ANSI/NEDA.

Often called as the Quadruple-A battery, the AAAA battery weighs 43 percent less, 40 percent smaller and 20 percent thinner than the AAA battery, although it is not as popular as the larger AA and AAA batteries.

The AAAA battery has 1.5 volts of power and dimensions of 42.5mm in long and 8.3mm in diameter. It uses the alkaline technology having 500 – 600mAh capacity. The AAAA battery can also operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -18C to 55C. In addition, it has no mercury content which makes it safe for the environment when disposed properly.
